Effort and Care

When the COVID-19 pandemic began and businesses were shuttered, clients (and new clients) were on the phones with our dedicated bankers morning to night looking for solutions.

As a Small Business Administration lender, we received early notice of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). With everyone working remotely, Capital Bank bankers (and our officers, administrators, and support staff) issued 1,165 PPP loans for clients and their approximately 37,000 employees from DC metropolitan area communities.
