Sean O’Malley serves as Vice President, Head of Growth & Strategy at Capital Bank Home Loans, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate industries. He is passionate about recruiting top talent, building high-performing teams, driving business development, and helping loan officers grow their business through a servant leadership approach.

Before joining Capital Bank, Sean spent over five years with Embrace Home Loans as Vice President of Retail Recruiting for the Mid-Atlantic region, where he supported eleven branches and helping to grow the region by adding $1 Billion in production. His proven track record as a recruiting and growth leader makes him a valuable addition to the Capital Bank team.

In his current role, Sean also plays a critical role in supporting Branch managers and leadership teams with their recruiting efforts. He provides hands-on coaching, mentors leaders to enhance their recruiting capabilities, and collaborates closely with them to build out effective processes and systems that streamline talent acquisition and retention. This strategic support empowers branches to attract and develop top-tier talent, ultimately fueling sustained growth and operational excellence across the organization.

Outside of work, Sean is married to his wife Sarah of 15 years, and together they have three children: Chloe, Payton, and Lucas. A lifelong athlete and coach, he enjoys coaching baseball and flag football, traveling with his family, staying active in fitness, and playing golf whenever he can.
