Job Description

The Sr. Software Developer is a member of the development and data team and is responsible for building and implementing software solutions to support the needs of the business.  The role requires Full-stack Web Development experience with an emphasis on strong data skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Take business requirements and implement end-to-end solution
  • Build & Validate prototypes as proof-of-concept projects
  • Take recommendations and propose modifications/adaptations to achieve stated goals
  • Be a positive contributor to the team with fresh ideas and insight
  • Assess business requirements meet the specific and overall business goals
  • Understand what makes the business move forward and bring solutions that help the business realize its stated goals
  • Interface with business team members in a positive and helpful manner as a member of the team

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Web Development, Data Management, Microservices
  • Experience with Enterprise Web applications
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills
  • Understands and practices SOLID & Clean Code Software Principles
  • Comfortable in an Agile Environment
  • Adheres to practical TDD concepts of self-tested and validated code

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to learn
  • Ability to adapt experience to fit current business needs
  • Understanding of “right-sized” approach to solutions
  • Can visualize the big picture and build solutions in line with the end-state target
  • Understands how to implement horizontal scale solutions in a cloud-environment
  • Interest/Excitement in future/upcoming technology and how to use it day-to-day
  • .NET Stack experience, MVVM, MVC and Aspect-Oriented programming understanding
  • Works well in small-team environment with talented individuals with good visibility and a measurable, clear impact to the success of the business
