Brad Rodier
Brad Rodier serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Banking and Chief Lending Officer of Capital Bank, N.A., where he leads the Bank’s commercial banking organization and is responsible for the performance, growth, and composition of the Bank’s overall banking portfolio. In this role and as part of CBNK executive management team, he oversees lending strategy and works across business lines to ensure balanced, relationship-driven growth across loans, deposits, and treasury services while maintaining strong credit quality.
Brad plays a central role in executing the Bank’s strategic growth initiatives, aligning relationship management, credit discipline, and client development to strengthen Capital Bank’s position as a trusted partner to businesses. His leadership supports the Bank’s focus on building long-term client relationships and sustaining a high-performing, well-diversified portfolio.
Brad joined Capital Bank in April 2023, bringing nearly two decades of commercial banking leadership experience. Prior to joining Capital Bank, he served as Commercial Market Executive and Senior Vice President at Fulton Bank, where he led middle market banking efforts across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. In this role, he was responsible for portfolio growth, credit quality, and the performance and development of commercial banking teams.
Brad began his banking career at M&T Bank after completing its formal credit training program, where he held several leadership roles, including Team Leader and Vice President, managing commercial banking teams and client portfolios in Northern Baltimore County.
He is actively involved in the community and serves on the Board of Trustees for The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Elon University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He resides in Baltimore with his wife and family.
