An update for North Riverside customers

Capital Bank has agreed to sell its North Riverside branch to another community bank. This branch sale is separate from Capital Bancorp’s announced combination with Peoples Bancorp. The sale has not yet closed and remains subject to required approvals.

For now, please continue banking as usual. You do not need to take any action. We will contact affected customers directly with details and instructions as the transition plans are finalized.
